II Athena SWAN Career Development workshop:

Thinking about applying for research/teaching fellowships?

As part of the Division of Medicine's Athena SWAN Activities, we are organising a workshop on Fellowship Applications for female and male basic scientists from student to postdoctoral level. Confirmed speakers are: Prof David Abraham, Prof Ian Zachary, Prof Claudia Mauri and Dr Liz Jury with attendance of Advisors from funding agencies. Sessions planned include:

• Application Tips & Support Opportunities in the Division
• Career Development from a Basic Researcher’s Perspective
• Teaching Fellowships
• A Personal View on mentoring
  
• Research Fellowship Schemes

This will be followed by a Q&A session and a reception.
